You're right Rerender. The link works with a question mark. So here is the working URL if you havent seen it yet.

Again, any advise on the matter would be much appreciated

if anyone figures this out, i'd love to hear it....i've been fighting this on a certain animation for a while now....i've been able to elminate the flashing glossy objects by going to standard glossy instead of interpolated, but i havent been able to eliminate that same problem that you're seeing with the drawer gaps.

my animation is also at the 20-30min/frame mark (dual athlon 2000mp)

AA sound like a good idea, seen it before too.

However, if you are rendering to multiple machines perhaps this
          might help.

I had/have the same problem, for me though it turned out to be a
machine specific problem. I render all anims over the farm
so I was able to find the offending frames, see which machine rendered
them and just have not submitted to it again.

Had our IT guy reseat the CPU to make sure cooling was good (w/new
thermal grease etc..) but I still have not rendered to that box again. Have
not had enough time to test it to see if heat was the problem. Though
the problem machine remains slower than the others so I suspect something is still wrong with it.
